No way! I do use Pro Tools but in today's world of DAW's, there is no "correct" choice. The concepts and techniques that I teach will apply to any major DAW.
While it would be nearly impossible to cover all genres in one course, Mixing Drums is packed full of strategies that will increase your options when mixing multiple genres of music.
Not exclusively, but I sure do! In fact, for every strategy that I teach I include a breakdown of how to achieve the same technique with stock plugins. I even show a secret tip on how to add character to stock plugins. 😉
Absolutely. The drum and bass multitracks are included as well as audio stems so you can practice alongside the tutorial.
While I highly recommend Trigger 2 to anyone serious about mixing modern drums, it is not a requirement. I do show replacing drums with Trigger, but there are numerous ways to achieve drum doubling and replacement and I'll have you covered even if you don't own Trigger.
